Science fiction models are very popular in the modeling community. Besides Military Alan also likes to make Science Fiction Models, comrprising of spacecraft and robots, such as Gundam. Also involved in Warhammer 40K tabletop wargame models.

Starblazers EFF Andromeda - Scale 1:700

Model of the Earth Federation Force's Flag Ship Andromeda, from the famous Starblazers (Space Battleship Yamato) animate cartoon. This model was released 30 years ago, it is about 37cm in overall length. 

Although it is an very old kit, Alan is able borrow some of the skills from his experience in 1/700 ship models to enchance this model. Such as using photo-etch railing and adding scratch-built details.

Warhammer 40K

Space Marines army is the main area of interest in Warhammer 40K tabletop gaming models. The figures below were sold on EBay.

Zaku Tank On A Mountain Pass Diorama - Scale 1:144

The story of this diorama is about a Zaku Tank stucks on a high mountain pass due to collapse of the road caused by a landslide. The soldiers are trying to look for a solution. At the same time, an enemy scout is spying on them from above. Theidea of the diorama was inspired by a TV program called "India's Most Dangerous Road".

This model received a commendation in the Australian Model Expo 2012.
